Open Practices:
In the first three weeks of the academic year we have 3 open practices. Everyone, thus also if you are not a member, can join these practices. During these practices the basics of handball will be explained, to give interested people an impression of our beautifull sport! These open practices are organized on:
August 29th: from 21:15-22:45
September 5th: from 21:15-22:45
September 12th: from 21:15-22:45
Welcome to the website of D.S.H.V. Torius. Torius is the handball association for students at the TU Delft and other nearby institutions for higher education. We are one of the smaller associations in Delft but nevertheless a very undertaking and fun one!
We have regular practice on Tuesday (21:15-22:45) and Thursday (18:00-19:30) at sportscentre X, usually indoors but sometimes we move to the beach field at X to play some beachhandball on Mondays.
During the regular season we have a ladies and two gents teams competing in the 2nd and 1st level regional competition.
Next to playing handball we also have a lot of activities such as our monthly drinks at the Klooster, drinks after practice, (beach)tournaments, parties, dinners, fun games and much more!

De TU Delft is de huissponsor van DSHV Torius . DSHV Torius is een van de 40 sportverenigingen die zijn aangesloten bij X (Unit Sport & Cultuur) van de TU Delft. Het doel van X is meerwaarde te creëren voor de universiteit als geheel door bij te dragen aan de persoonlijke ontwikkeling van de studenten, de kwaliteit van de campus en de maatschappelijke betrokkenheid van de TU Delft.
Samen met zo’n 50 studentenorganisaties, honderden docenten en trainers, en vele anderen binnen en buiten de universiteit onderhoudt X een gevarieerd en dynamisch programma waaraan jaarlijks zo’n 9.000 studenten en medewerkers deelnemen.
