Torius

Torius is the student handball team from Delft. We have approximately 50 members, including 5 board members and several commissions to take care of frequent fun activities and events. To check out our commissions, teams, or the board, please click on the links on the left side.

Aside of the competition for guys and girls teams, which we are playing in cooperation with EDH in Delft, we also take part in student handball tournaments in the Netherlands and different tournaments in Europe. Additionally we play friendly matches against other clubs, and even organize an annual beachhandball tournament in the end of August at the beach of Hoek van Holland. To be ready for this beachhandball tournament at the end of the summer, we always start practicing beachhandball once the sun comes out in spring and the temperatures start to rise to a comfortable level. Fortunately, we may use the university's beachfields for practice and thus don't need to migrate to the beaches every time.
