Welcome to the website of D.S.H.V. Torius

Torius is the student handball team of the TU Delft.

We are one of the smaller associations, but nevertheless a very undertaking association! We have several commissions which organise a lot of fun activities throughout the year. An example is Dutch students championship beachhandbal: 3 days of beachhandbal, party and fun entirely organised by the BeachCie (Beach Commission) of Torius.

Beside the competition for the gents and ladies teams, who play together in a combination with EDH, we also attend many student tournaments and foreign tournaments where we let everyone know what Torius is all about, playing handball and having a good party.

Besides these tournaments we usually train in the hall of the sportscenter of the TU or we train outside on the beachfields to prepare us for our own beachhandbal tournament.

Hey Torians,

the TTT7 was a great success thanks to the great committee: Mona, Britta, Duncan, and Stu! In spite of little sleep, lots of beer, and a few crabs we saw (and became) we made it home safe and are ready for action again tonight at BEACH PRACTICE at 19.15. Be there ahead of time to help putting up goals and lines.
 
Beach practice 18th of May

Torians and other interested students,

 

Tonight, the 18th of may 2010, we will have a beachhandball training again at the TU Delft Sportcentre.

It is going to be sunny today but it might still be a little cold, so bring an additional T-shirt.

 

The beach trainings always start at 19.15. But it is better to be there 15 minutes earlier to help build up the field.

Remember, that when the weather is good on Tuesday, we normally have beach training at 19.15

If the weather is bad, we will have indoor training at 20.30 at the SC.

 

We will send the members an e-mail about this decision (depending on the weather forecast) one day in advanced.

Dear Torians,

starting Tuesday next week, April 27th 2010, we will play beach handball instead of regular handball! Practice starts at 19.15 and we will be done by approximately 21.30. Please sign up on the event calendar!

 

ATTENTION: In case of bad weather, you will receive an email the monday before. In that email you'll find information about the practice on the following day (which will then be inside at a different time!)
