Welcome to the website of D.S.H.V. Torius

Torius is the student handball team of the TU Delft.

We are one of the smaller associations, but nevertheless a very undertaking association! We have several commissions which organise a lot of fun activities throughout the year. An example is Dutch students championship beachhandbal: 3 days of beachhandbal, party and fun entirely organised by the BeachCie (Beach Commission) of Torius.

Beside the competition for the gents and ladies teams, who play together in a combination with EDH, we also attend many student tournaments and foreign tournaments where we let everyone know what Torius is all about, playing handball and having a good party.

Besides these tournaments we usually train in the hall of the sportscenter of the TU or we train outside on the beachfields to prepare us for our own beachhandbal tournament.

17th Torius NSK Beachhandball

The BeachCie has been working again and we are happy to announce that the 17th edition will take place in the weekend of 28th, 29th and 30th of August!
Write it down in your SUPER-agenda, so you won’t miss this SUPER-weekend!!
Theme of our tournament on the beach of Hoek van Holland will be “Everything you’d like to become, but never did: SUPER-Heroes”
 
New Torretje

GNSK Trainings

From now on, the thursday trainings will be used as practice for the GNSK (Dutch students championships).
Everybody who feels like joining the selection, make sure you will be on training so you can impress our coach!

Not-interested players are also welcome off course ;)

 
 
Torius dominated Utrecht tournament!

The girls of Torius became first (1st) and second (2nd) on this weekends' tournament in Utrecht!
I can't say anything else that they played a superb tournament, taking into account that there was no influence of the party on their play.

Congratulations!!

The guys didn't managed to get to the semi-finals, but had a good tournament. Torius was the only one with teams where some less experienced players joined, but managed to play well due to good team play.

The big party foregoing of the tournament was obvious Partycup-point worth for Torius. As far as I can remember, all Torians were still present when the bartenders started cleanin.

No Practice this Upcoming Tuesday for the GUYS!

Hello Torius-GUYS,

due to most people having exams, the fact that competition is over and practice is outside on asphalt at EDH, practice on Tuesday (31-3-2009) will be cancelled for you. If you plan on joining the EDH guys anyway feel free to do so. According to the schedule practice there will start at 20.30.

For the girls there are no changes - practice at the sportscenter!
