Welcome to the website of D.S.H.V. Torius

Torius is the student handball team of the TU Delft.

We are one of the smaller associations, but nevertheless a very undertaking association! We have several commissions which organise a lot of fun activities throughout the year. An example is Dutch students championship beachhandbal: 3 days of beachhandbal, party and fun entirely organised by the BeachCie (Beach Commission) of Torius.

Beside the competition for the gents and ladies teams, who play together in a combination with EDH, we also attend many student tournaments and foreign tournaments where we let everyone know what Torius is all about, playing handball and having a good party.

Besides these tournaments we usually train in the hall of the sportscenter of the TU or we train outside on the beachfields to prepare us for our own beachhandbal tournament.

Practice Match for the GNSK Guys - May 26th

On Tuesday, May 26th the GNSK guys are having a practice match against Northa. The match will start at 20.30, so be there at 20.00 to change before and warm up!

This also means that practice for the girls will be cancelled this day!

 

By the way: everyone is invited to watch and cheer for the guys!

 
GNSK Practice for the Guys Next Tuesday

Because of Ascension Day on Thursday (21st of May), there will be no GNSK practice. Instead of Thursday, the GNSK team will practice on Tuesday the 19th at regular Tuesday practice time: 20:30.

Arend also proposed to be there, but ONLY if there will be enough guys.
Mail Duncan before Monday whether you’ll attend the GNSK training, so he can tell Arend whether he has to come to the Sports Center or not. End-of-Competition Party @ EDH

June 7th will be the last day of the field competition for EDH. They take this as a reason to have another nice party at Kerkpolder, starting at 16.30. First, the senior teams play against their boy/girlfriends (or if you don't have/bring one, they'll find another opponent!. Afterwards, around 18.30 there is a buffet with warm and cold food for €10 a person.

EDH Beachtournament

On June 20th EDH is celebrating its 60 year existence. Additionally, they will create 2 Beachhandball fields outside the hall at Kerkpolder and we're signed up to rock the tournament!

Afterwards, there will also be a big party so be sure to put this in your agenda!
