Welcome to the website of D.S.H.V. Torius

Torius is the student handball team of the TU Delft.

We are one of the smaller associations, but nevertheless a very undertaking association! We have several commissions which organise a lot of fun activities throughout the year. An example is Dutch students championship beachhandbal: 3 days of beachhandbal, party and fun entirely organised by the BeachCie (Beach Commission) of Torius.

Beside the competition for the gents and ladies teams, who play together in a combination with EDH, we also attend many student tournaments and foreign tournaments where we let everyone know what Torius is all about, playing handball and having a good party.

Besides these tournaments we usually train in the hall of the sportscenter of the TU or we train outside on the beachfields to prepare us for our own beachhandbal tournament.

due to an event at the Sportscenter on Thursday, our practice will be shifted from 19.45 to 20.00. Please keep this in mind and be on time!

17th SUPER NSK Beachhandball 2009 is not taking place

SUPER-Hello everyone,

unfortunately, today the province of Zuid-Holland pulled back the permit for the beachhandball tournament on the beach of Hoek van Holland, due to the shooting on the beach last weekend.

Thus, this year's tournament is not taking place. We hope to present an awesome tournament to you next year - most likely at a new location! You will all receive an email about this once we know next year.

We are SUPER-sorry for the inconvenience!

FINALLY! This years beachhandball tournament is getting closer and closer! On Friday, August 28th 2009, we will start putting up the partytents, bar, and all the other stuff to party on Friday, followed by the one and only Dutch Student Championship Beachhandball!

New Practice Times After the Summer Break

We're almost there!

Beginning in September, we will practice again! Like last year, Torius will practice at the Sportscenter on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The times are:

Tuesdays: 20:15-22:15
Thursdays: 19:45-22:00

The exact time you should be there (we practice partially seperate) will follow shortly so stay alert!
