Welcome to the website of D.S.H.V. Torius

Torius is the student handball team of the TU Delft.

We are one of the smaller associations, but nevertheless a very undertaking association! We have several commissions which organise a lot of fun activities throughout the year. An example is Dutch students championship beachhandbal: 3 days of beachhandbal, party and fun entirely organised by the BeachCie (Beach Commission) of Torius.

Beside the competition for the gents and ladies teams, who play together in a combination with EDH, we also attend many student tournaments and foreign tournaments where we let everyone know what Torius is all about, playing handball and having a good party.

Besides these tournaments we usually train in the hall of the sportscenter of the TU or we train outside on the beachfields to prepare us for our own beachhandbal tournament.

Dear Torians,
As you all might know, we have planned Toriusklaas again this year!!


When? Friday, December 11th 2009 @ 18.00

Where? Sunna's place --> Jacoba v Beierenlaan 17, Delft

There will be a lot of good food en of course a great amount of beer!!
(you will hear soon about the entree fee)


If everyone could let us know if he or she is coming or not, we can divide the 'lootjes' as soon as possible!!!
The 'lootjes trekken' will be done online, this means you will get an e-mail with some other member’s name…


For this person you have to buy a present (around 5 euro’s) and you need to make a poem about him of her!!

So we hope to hear soon if we'll see you there!!!

Oktoberfest in November

The boards of EDH and Torius would like to invite all of you to an evening of beer, (very silly - I mean cultural) German songs, and dancing for the Oktoberfest in November! :)

The location is Kerkpolder (EDHome) and it starts at 8pm!

Furthermore, Sodaba would like you to dress in an Oktoberfest costume. If you don't have one, wear black, red or yellow  (schwarz rot gold !!!). In case you neglect this order by Sodaba "a non-pleasant surprise is awaiting you".

For those who don't have a beer mug, you can order one via Sodaba. Send her an e-mail and she'll take care of the rest (price for a beer mug is approximately €3-6).

Members' Meeting (ALV) October 15th, 20.00 @ SC

On October 15th we will have a members' meeting at 20.00, where the new Torius board will be elected. The location will be a room on the first floor of the sportscenter. Please put this day in your agenda - afterwards we will most likely go out with all attendants!

As this is INSTEAD OF PRACTICE, you should have the time to come!

Hello everyone,

Please keep in mind that we do not have practice on Thursday this week

We will, however, have a meeting for all competition guys and girls at EDH (Kerkpolder hall), starting at 20.15. Please be there on time!
